Man denied £1.7m payout by Betfred takes fight to High Court

I'm not taking sides... except that I think it would be funny if the guy won his case. But:

  >The company was willing to pay £30,000...Mr Green refused and the company increased its offer to £60,000, which he also rejected.
  
  >Mr Green said "the last two and a half years have felt like hell on earth ... You wouldn't treat an animal like I've been treated by Betfred," he said.

Hmmm... to compare being offered £60000 to being treated worse than an animal is slightly stretching the hyperbole a bit.
