Software Scaling – Does It Matter?

It would be interesting to analyze Adobe's valuation over time to see how the market "anticipated" Adobe's growing into their scale.. in other words, maybe EV / Revenue multiples make sense if the end goal is achieving scale with 30-40% margins, even if it takes 20-30 years.
