I've seen this personally happening with my coworkers. We are full-time remote, and three families have moved to Vancouver, WA, Portsmouth NH and Portland, Maine. They all considered Texas and North Carolina but went north due to disliking heat.

Housing policy is causing 10000x the internal migration that climate change is. Americans haven't even finished populating the dry western states.

      Dude, the climate has hardly changed so far. People are abandoning California when it has the best climate in the country. You don't need a citation, you just need a brain.
