Ask HN: How do you find desktop/server software for Windows?
Hi, I'm new here but I thought I'd barge in with a question that's been on my mind for a while.
With the market moving more and more to app stores and hosted applications. Where do you go to find desktop or server software for Windows?
It used to be that there where so many reputable shareware sites you could go to. But it seems like this landscape has eroded over the years.
Also, I'm developing desktop and server software myself so it's also that I'm looking for some good places to submit my software to increase the page-rank.
