Ask HN: Machine Learning in Operating Systems?
I recently listened to a podcast where the interviewee mentions they envision a possible future where ML is used in operating systems whereby the OS learns the usage patterns and adapts over time. One example was using different scheduling algorithms at different times of day depending on expected load. Does anyone know of any projects or research on the subject?
