Ask HN: Where was the article about local backups of online services?
Hi! Recently (May 2020 I think) I read some article on HN where someone wrote a script collection/framework to backup and normalize chat messages etc. from a variety of online services. The goal was to have one local, durable, searchable data set for all kinds of messages. I just can‘t find the article anymore. Can anybody help? Thanks a lot!
