Ask HN: Engineering Managers how do you keep track of your direct reports?
As a newer manager, I’m trying to see if there are any tools/best practices for managers to help their reports in career development.
I currently use a spreadsheet to track against their career ladder/goals and another doc to keep track of notable pull request, feedback, and documents. Any other tips or best practices?
