Ask HN: What can I teach girls age14-18 in one week?
I am working with this nonprofit organization and soon going to one of the developing countries to organize coding camp for girls age 14-18. The camp is one week long and totally free for girls. During the camp we are going to teach basics of html and css. Even though we understand the week is not enough, we just want to show girls tools and different things that they can accomplish if they consider coding on their own. However, the main idea of the camp is to motivate girls, hopefully make them consider tech as a career and maybe instill some enterprenerial values. This is my first time ever doing this and I wonder what could be useful to teach girls and any maybe you guys have any tips. Any suggestions are welcome.
