Ask HN: What car models do you own and why?

2009 Honda CR-V bought new. I would consider only Honda or Toyota vehicles due to their reliability. Even though a lot of their vehicles are no longer manufactured in Japan, they are still more reliable than other makes.

2015 Honda Civic. Cheap and reliable. Bought it used - 3 year lease trade-in. If you're in the market for cheap, reliable, basic transportation then this is it.

1999 Honda CRV. Bought used in 2007 with 48K miles. Now has 64K miles. Should be clear why it's not worth buying a new car.
