Ask HN: What could I grow my folio with?
I've been looking for projects to expand my portfolio with but I can't seem to find any apparent problems I might want to "fix" in my immediate surroundings. This is why I'm asking if anyone had any suggestions on things to work on, either solving artificial problems just for the sake of producing something or you having found some annoying thing in whatever domain you frequent.
The suggestions could be almost anything; I have at least "passing" experience in most common CS fields (or at least I still believe I do), and if if not I'm eager to learn.
I would be grateful for any suggestion!
