Ask HN: How to do good (on the internet) without doing much
I'm looking for services or tools that can easily be integrated into your daily life which, in one way or another, do good to others without causing you much effort.
One example: ecosia.org is a Bing-powered search engine which uses its ad money for planting trees. Using this instead of Google doesn't require any effort (okay, set it up once, then forget, so like 1 minute) but does good to others.

its slogan is"You shop. Amazon gives." That's cool, although the options are limited. Great point to start.
