Ask HN: RAIK (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Kubes)?
Are we entering a new phase of abstraction above Kube? With the announcement from Rancher of seamless multi-cluster networking[1] it feels like Kube could become THE cloud for some use cases, abstracting away the underlying cloud providers if the clusters are spread among them. Does anyone here on HN have experience or educated opinions on Kube across providers or multi-cluster Kube networking in general? Any good alternatives to Rancher?
