Ask HN: Where to find a business or life coach? Seriously stuck, need help
The short version of my life is that I drove my career into a dead-end. Always dreamed of having a start-up but never got anywhere. In between my projects I worked as a freelancer. Also lived in different countries.
I tried many things but never concentrated on one thing. This was fine in the past, but now in my end-forties and with one young kid, I am seriously stuck in my career.
I feel that I lack any sense of "business smarts" and just running around in circles. This has turned my life into a depression and it becomes more and more difficult to see a way out.
I need help but not sure where to get it.
I consider therapy but I think what I need is career or business advice. Best a combination of both.
Anyone in a similar situation? Where did you find help?
