Ask HN: Easiest way to get into modern C++?
After a couple of months of learning and using Rust i am interested in learning modern C++. Now daily i mainly work in PHP and sometimes in Kotlin. Over my career i have mostly used high level languages and now i want to get into the more low level stuff so i can work on projects i have never worked before ( embedded, game dev etc).
I am interested in the easiest and quickest level to get into modern C++. Now i know C++ takes years to get into but what i am hoping to get is a resource that i can quickly skim over a couple of days and then feel comfortable enough to go do some projects with a lot of googling and trial and error.
Lately i prefer courses and videos over books because i don't want to spend 300+ pages on a book that can be said in a couple of hours in video but i am open for anything.
