Ask HN: What is your default privacy settings after GDPR?
What steps do you take to secure your privacy while you are browsing internet? What do you allow for websites to use after gdpr since they're mostly asking permissions now?
Are you going full mode with tor browser, with extensions etc. to give little as possible or are you trusting some sites and share your info/cookie with only them?
I thought of this question because I was always allowing everything and seeing very targeted ads and was okay with this, after reading a few posts about GDPR here, I switched to ublock, umatrix, autoclean cookies (since I don't exactly know which information they collect so I am trying to give none) etc. but I am still sceptical so I wondered how is everyone else doing?
