Ask HN: How realistic is it to build a career as a remote employee?
I've been working remotely (not in NA/EUR) for the past 2 years now and, even though I love the life quality improvements, I feel like it might not be worth on the long run.
What I'm most worried about is: how would I grow my career? I like being a developer, but I think I'm going to do my best work being a Product Manager, and it doesn't seem to be easy to achieve that being remote.
I've been thinking about moving to NA to pursue that path, so I can have better chances to grow inside a great startup, but I wanted to post here and see if anyone else have any thoughts about it.
