Ask HN: Technical details behind scaling Silk Road? (1 "employee", $200M sales?)
Besides tor, bitcoin, etc, does anyone know what other technologies (langs, frameworks, hosting) Ross Ulbricht used to build and scale Silk Road to an estimated $200M in sales [1]? Did he have help from anyone else? Seems pretty crazy that one person was able to scale a marketplace to that size.
