Ask HN: Does the modern data warehouse use a star schema?
After reading the recent post about Slacks analytics stack. I found myself wondering if even with newer technologies like parquet being used to house the data, do modern companies still use the star schema dimensional modeling techniques to store their data? Is this a valid model for modern technologies?
