Ask HN: What data do 'Snapshot' devices (auto insurance) actually collect?
In addition to the general question above, I am curious about data where the incentives might be mis-aligned with driver safety.
For example, I was told by my insurance company that they collect breaking information. Does that mean if I never stop, running all stop signs and red lights, my driving will "look better" to the insurance company?
