Ask HN: Do online courses help in switching jobs
I am having 10 years of experience mostly in desktop application , good in c++/java/ OS/DS/Algo, have CS degree. I want to move in distributed computing, and was planning to take certified courses of coursera. I was wondering if once successfully completed, would it be possible to get a job at same level ( I am staff now ) in new field?
