As software developers we are surrounded by an industry obsess with optimizing hardware, improving software, and project methodologies. But who is working on you the individual? Burnout, frustration, blame, and resignation are just a few of the symptoms common in our industry. So when is the last time you did an upgrade of your code, the one that was installed by others as a youth? Is it serving you today in the direction you wish to go? How buggy is the current version?
