I found out non-EMV (chip) credit card holders are 10x more likely to become fraud victims. That's nutty. On top of that, businesses who do not accept EMV are liable for fraud damages.
It lets customers 'dip' their chip cards directly to your card reader and it's processed through your Stripe account (existing or new).
