Myanmar's expected president is an unlikely leader (and CS grad)
The presumed next president of Myanmar, supported by the National League for Democracy, is U Htin Kyaw. Via Twitter, he was "a cobol programmer working on the first mainframe computer to arrive in Myanmar, back in the 70's."
The AP story says he was "a programmer and analyst" for a few years after his degree: http://bigstory.ap.org/article/69076cf38d344fbc8443f450d51a6364/myanmars-literature-loving-president-unlikely-leader
