About us Theorem (www.theoremlp.com) is a YC W14 company founded by a Google software engineer and a Morgan Stanley quant trader.

We are a cross-disciplinary team applying machine learning, software engineering and rigorous scientific investigation to revamp the lending and securitization space. This is one of finance’s least sexy areas, but is a multi-trillion dollar market- and it’s where the financial crisis started. Bad technology was a major cause, and even after almost 10 years, no one has fixed it. We're trying to, and we’ve raised a multimillion dollar seed round from top tier investors including major VCs, Max Levchin, SV Angel and Two Sigma.

One of our primary products is managing investments in the marketplace lending space. We have LP capital commitments of over $100mn dollars for a set of institutions and individuals We are looking to significantly grow this client base over the next year.

The goal of the cap intro, business development and investor relations candidate is to increase the number of investors and size of investments in Theorem from High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices and RIAs, to maintain relationships and build the firm’s capital base and referrals with existing investors, and to work with the CEO to find and close deals from institutional investors.

Business Development responsibilities:

Lead Gen: · Lead gen of new HNW individuals, FO, and RIA customers, include cold calling, conferences, investor events and the candidate’s network · Initial qualification of inbound and referral interest

Sales: · In person and phone pitches of the fund · Keep detailed records in company CRM · Forecast & pipeline mgmt · Maintain relationships with existing investors and increase their investment - Building process to streamline sales

Investor Relations responsibilities: · Guide investors through the admin / paperwork process · Improve existing process to increase efficiency and ease

Must haves: · 5-10 years in the fund marketing, cap intro or prime brokerage space · Prior Investor facing role · Self starter and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment · Track record of fundraising success · Relationships with potential investor leads Experience with Lead Generation
