In 10 years, we'd have built a network where millions of engineers are able to work from anywhere at anytime and businesses are able to easily create software.
Gigster is looking for exceptional engineers to join us in building the world's engineering department.
We are looking for talented full-stack software engineers and data engineers. You will build and extend communication and management platforms and you will devise intelligent systems that combine algorithms with the crowd to automate project management, team formation, project pricing, and ultimately some aspects of software development itself. You should love working on complex problems, building elegant systems, and be able to build a v1 of almost anything in a weekend. You have tinkered with Go/Node, Angular/React, Docker, and Python.
You'll be teaming up with interesting and talented engineers. The founders have ported video games to FPGAs, worked on silicon lasers, and built apps used by 200M+ monthly users.
Gigster is backed by Andreessen Horowitz and Y Combinator and has grown rapidly since our launch 12 months ago. You must live in San Francisco or be willing to relocate - we'll cover moving costs.
As one of our founding engineers you will earn significant equity, own important initiatives, and be treated as a true partner as we navigate exciting & uncharted business and technical challenges.
