Ask HN: What browser extensions do you use?
List browser extensions you use/love for development, privacy, or personal productivity. I only use a few: - ZenHub (https://zenhub.io) – personal productivity and team collaboration / PM tool built into GitHub. Disclosure: my company is the major investor in ZenHub; - Pocket (https://getpocket.com) - bookmarking tool; - Bugherd (https://bugherd.com) - because I was helping point out issues on a friend's website yesterday; - Terrorists to Coward (https://www.producthunt.com/tech/terrorists-to-cowards) - quick hackathon project two of my team members did; - Google Docs/Sheets/Slides and Docs offline; - Wandertab (http://www.hitlistapp.com/wandertab/) - shows you a flight deal every time you open a new tab! I currently use: - Ghostery (https://www.ghostery.com/) - analysing cookies and installed trackers on a site - Usersnap (https://usersnap.com) - for tracking bugs and collecting feedback for our website projects - Pocket (https://getpocket.com) - bookmarking - Zenmate (https://zenmate.com/) - for not worrying about country blocked content - Image downloader (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/image-downloader/c...) I always end up opening a lot of tabs so One Tab (https://www.one-tab.com/) has been my saving grace. I currently use - The Great Suspender: reduces memory footprint by purging tabs least used - Bishop: Vulnerability checker - Fetch: advanced web history search - Hacker Vision: inverts some webpage colors to reduce eye strain - UBlock Origin: efficient Adblocker Pocket looked great until I looked at the permissions it wants on Android. Wi-Fi details? Contacts? Seriously?
