About
I'm an engineer and engineering leader who still writes code. I spent nearly nine years building a cloud and platform org from scratch, and I now work on security as a distinguished engineer.I write about platform engineering and agentic software development at https://vinny.dev
On the side I ship iOS and Mac apps (GSD Task Manager, TravelTimes, PourCraft Coffee) and open source tools like Tycho and AgentMachinist. Code: https://github.com/vscarpenter
Linux user since SLS and Slackware.
