About
Why do you upvote garbage? ლ(ಠ益ಠლ) — Science reduced to mysticism for morons (phys.org, quantamagazine.org, nautil.us) — Angry rants about last week's news (Techdirt) — Gratuitous mentions of Brave browser or Rust lang (tribalism goes brrrr) — Misleading clickbait from decadent 20th century news establishments that threw away their best people and joined the race to the bottom (WaPo and NYT) — Yoink-and-spin secondhand summaries of somebody else's reporting (Verge, Cyberscoop, Gizmodo, Engadget, Wired, etc.) — Fake news (and then the follow-up that says it's fake gets flagged) — Dupes: Reuters and AP stories on Yahoo News fly high while the exact same stories on reuters.com and apnews.com sink like a stone — Super-old stories and Wikipedia articles that keep coming back like Groundhog Day"Don't post or upvote crap links" — https://news.ycombinator.com/newswelcome.html
