    More companies will leave the US. These unfriendly policies are not sustainable.

    Make no mistake, like tariffs, Trump’s using H1B “fees” to assert leverage on foreign countries, extorting companies/ppl to make “deals”. He’ll exempt those who do his will, and cherry pick who gets deference. Complete chaos and inconsistency. 100K is absurd. The companies pay.

    I am betting the courts will stop this ridiculous $100,000 annual H-1B visa fee, but my concern is retaliation by other countries increasing their visa fees to match. Hopefully, they will waive visa fees, but that will lead to brain drain in the US
