I searched for my own name on Google. The result makes no sense.
When I search for vincent schmalbach, Google gives me only two pages of results. And most of those results are just my own site, my GitHub, my LinkedIn, a few profile pages, and not much else.

My name has been mentioned on many websites. My blog has been linked from many pages. Some of them are well-known reputable sites. So Google should have no problem finding more about me. But it does not show that in a normal search.
Then I searched for "vincent schmalbach" with quotes.
And suddenly Google found much more. So the information is clearly there. Google can find it. It just does not show it for a normal search without quotes.

If I search for a person's name, I want Google to show me information about that person. That is one of the most basic things a search engine should do.
Most people will not search with quotes. They will just type a name and press Enter.
