I have had a great experience with DigitalOcean. Setting up a Droplet is quick, the dashboard is easy to use, and the documentation is clear and genuinely useful.

Pricing is straightforward and fair, performance has been reliable, and features like backups and managed databases save me time. The community tutorials are also excellent.

One small improvement would be offering a few more guided setup wizards for common stacks, since beginners can still feel a bit overwhelmed at first. Overall, I would gladly recommend DigitalOcean for simple, dependable cloud hosting.

I had a great experience with DigitalOcean support. They reviewed my request and removed the SMTP restriction on my account, and after that my server connectivity worked correctly (ports 25/465/587). Communication was clear, the resolution was effective, and the process was handled professionally. Overall, very satisfied.

DigitalOcean Support That Actually Fixes the Problem

I reached out to DigitalOcean Support asking a simple question about free credits, expecting the usual canned response or policy copy paste. Instead, the support agent actually reviewed my account, identified why the credits were not applied, and fixed it without back and forth.

They manually applied $200 in trial credits, clearly explained where to see them, how they reflect on billing, and the exact expiry date. No vague answers. No runaround. Just action.

This is how support should work. Quick, transparent, and genuinely helpful.
Big respect to the DigitalOcean support team for not wasting time and actually solving the issue.

If more companies handled support like this, people would trust platforms a lot more.

do Cloud is the most generous I've encountered, even more so than Google's $300 credit offer. This is because do's application process is incredibly straightforward, and I believe supporting Alipay is crucial. Many mainland users lack payment channels. China's situation is somewhat complex, but I see you actively addressing it. After fully experiencing all of Do Cloud's services, both speed and performance meet cutting-edge standards. The proactive promotional plans reduced my expenses by nearly half—compared to GCP, this is the honest truth. Thanks to the dedicated engineering team and Peace.
