Plasma displays in stations
Plasma displays are located in stations at the concourse and on platforms.
At the concourse, displays show the destination and the estimated arrival times of the next two trains at each platform. At the platforms, the displays show the arrival times and destination of the next two trains. At terminal stations, the departure time is shown too.
Some displays on the platforms will also show commercials and informational videos.
-West Lines
North-South Line East-West Line
Plasma displays by Conrac, with Rail Travel Information System (RATIS) programmed by Solution Space, are installed in stations along the North-South and East-West Lines.
The displays are installed before the paid area at the concourse and at a single location per platform.
North East Line

Passenger Information Displays by Samsung are installed in stations along the North East Line.
The displays are installed before the paid area at the concourse and at two points along each platform.
The original concourse displays were by Advance Systems (Asia), and have been replaced by Samsung screens in 2009/2010.
Circle Line

Plasma displays are installed in stations along the Circle Line.
The displays are installed before the paid area at the concourse and at a single point (typically the midpoint) along each platform.
Downtown Line
Downtown Line
Plasma displays with Station Travel Information System (STIS) programmed by Closed-loop Technology are installed in stations along the Downtown Line.
Displays installed at interchange stations are able to display train arrival information for the connecting line.
The displays are installed before the paid area at the concourse and at a single point along each platform for most stations.
-West Lines
Thomson-East Coast Line
Plasma displays with Station Travel Information System (STIS) programmed by ST Electronics, are installed in stations along the Thomson-East Coast Line.
The displays are installed before the paid area at the concourse and at a two points along each platform.
Changi Airport Skytrain

The displays are installed before the station and at a single location per platform.
Sengkang LRT

A plasma display screen is installed in Fernvale station of the Sengkang LRT.
The display is installed at the staircase leading to the platforms.
RATIS Extension
North-South Line East-West Line
Rail Travel Information System (RATIS) Extension screens provide live train service status information. They are installed in selected SMRT-operated MRT station concourses, transfer halls and entrances.
In an event of a train service disruption, the screens will provide travel advice and directions to the correct exits for bus bridging services, as well as the best alternative route to travel in an event of a train disruption.
These screens are also capable of displaying estimated train arrival timings during normal train services.

These displays show estimated times to the next two trains for each platform, as well as textual messages such as safety and train service messages.

Bukit Panjang LRT
LED displays are installed in stations along the Bukit Panjang LRT.
The displays are installed at the concourse, as well as at the midpoint of each platform.
These displays show the train arrival time and route of the next two trains, as well as occasionally scrolling through textual messages, and sometimes displaying the date and time.
Sengkang and Punggol LRT
Sengkang LRT Punggol LRT
LED displays are installed in stations along the Sengkang and Punggol LRT.
The displays are installed at the concourse, as well as at the midpoint of each platform.
These displays show only the route of the next train, as well as occasionally scrolling through textual messages. They do not provide next train timings.
SMRT iView in MRT stations
SMRT iView was launched in November 2010, and displays commercials and static advertising, as well as train arrival timings. They are installed on selected SMRT-operated station concourses, entrances and platforms.
Flight information display at Changi Airport
Flight information displays are installed at the platform of Changi Airport station.
They provide real-time flight arrivals and departures information.
Displays + route maps in trains
LED displays are located in train cabins, and provide information on the current and next station, the terminating station, transfer information, and also textual representations of audio announcements played in trains.
LCD screens displays commercials and informational videos, as well as showing the current and next station.
Dynamic route maps are located above doors, and show the current station, route, and direction of the train. They also indicate which side of the train the doors will open.
Visual Passenger Information System
The Visual Passenger Information System (VPIS) by ST Electronics controls the LED displays and LCD screens on trains.
The multi-coloured LED displays shows messages in different basic colours, while the LCD screens shows commercials and informational videos, as well as showing the current and next station.
North East Line
The VPIS with both LED displays and LCD screens are installed in all North East Line Alstom Metropolis C751A trains.
The VPIS with only LED displays are installed in all North East Line Alstom Metropolis C751C trains.
The LCD screens have since been deactivated on the Alstom Metropolis C751A trains.
North-South Line East-West Line
The VPIS with both LED displays and LCD screens were installed in the North-South and East-West Lines KNS C751B trains.
The VPIS was deactivated in the KNS trains in 2007, and then uninstalled and replaced with STARiS in 2010.
Train Traveller Information System
The Train Traveller Information System (TTIS) by ST Electronics controls the LED displays and LCD screens (DTL) on trains.
The LED displays provide information on the next station, the terminating station and transfer information (DTL), while the LCD screens (DTL) shows commercials and informational videos, as well as showing the current and next station.
Circle Line
The TTIS with LED displays are installed in all Circle Line Alstom Metropolis C830 and Alstom Metropolis C830C trains.
The LED displays on the C830C trains are a wider version of the ones on the C830 trains.
Apart from standard informational messages, the displays can also display information, such as travel advisories during special events.
Downtown Line
The TTIS with both LCD and LED displays are installed in all Downtown Line Bombardier MOVIA C951 trains.
The LED displays are multi-coloured, and can show messages in different basic colours.
Thomson-East Coast Line
The TTIS with LED displays are installed in all Thomson-East Coast Line Kawasaki Heavy Industries & CRRC Qingdao Sifang T251 trains.

Dynamic information panels are installed in all North-South and East-West Lines Alstom Movia R151 trains.
The Ceiling Level Display (CLD) panels display useful travel information, such as in-train announcement texts, current & next stations. It also displays terminus station information.
SMRT Active Route-map and Information System
The SMRT Active Route-map and Information System (STARiS) by SMRT is a rail travel information system comprising of two parts: a dynamic route map and a textual Vacuum Flourescent Display (VFD).
The dynamic route map provides commuters with their route information throughout their journey, and also indicates which side the doors will open.
The VFD screens provide information on the current and next station, the terminating station and transfer information and textual representations of audio announcements played in trains.
An updated version of the system, STARiS 2, replaces the dynamic route map with an LCD screen. The screens display route information, as well as the station layout and landmarks around the station.
Sentosa Express
The VFD screens of STARiS were installed in all Sentosa Express monorails. They have since been replaced with a newer LED display.

The LCD Media Screens used to display advertisements, but have since been deactivated on the Bombardier INNOVIA C801 trains.

The LED displays are multi-coloured and can display the current and next station.
