We’d like to share an important update about Ruby Newbie.
After careful consideration, we’ve decided to sunset Ruby Newbie as a standalone site and merge its content into the Ruby Users Forum. The goal is to bring beginners and experienced Ruby developers together in one place and strengthen the community.
What this means:

Ruby Newbie content is not disappearing; it’s moving.

All posts previously published on rubynewbie.org are now available under the Getting Started tag.

The Getting Started with Ruby Guide is available for download.
By consolidating everything into the Ruby Users Forum, we can focus our energy on creating a more robust, up-to-date knowledge base and make it easier for new members to learn while connecting with people who’ve already been there.
We’re excited about this next step and look forward to improving these resources together with the community.
