Turn-based strategy
Lead the resistance, one hard choice at a time
In this turn-based strategy game you take on the role of the Forest Brothers, using cover, cunning, and limited resources to outlast a far stronger occupier. It's a small tribute to a chapter of history that deserves to be remembered.

The history
Who were the Forest Brothers?
The Forest Brothers (metsavennad) were partisans across Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania who took to the woods to resist Soviet and Nazi occupation during and after the Second World War. Armed with little more than determination and an intimate knowledge of the land, they waged a guerrilla campaign that lasted for years against overwhelming odds.
Their story is one of courage, sacrifice, and the enduring will of small nations to be free — themes at the heart of Rebooting a Nation. This game is a small way of keeping their memory alive.
