There’s a new update to AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition, previously known as Radeon Software, ushering in support for Team Red’s brand-new Ryzen AI 400 series processors. Sticking with the theme of AI, version 26.1.1 also introduces AMD’s new AI bundle, which it announced at CES 2026 as a way to “simplify and accelerate local AI setup”.
If you don’t care for AI, don’t worry, the new bundle (which is a 34GB download) is completely optional. For gamers, the update also brings driver support for two games: Starsand Island and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora – From the Ashes Edition. As for the AI Bundle, the package includes five key pieces of software: PyTorch, ComfyUI, Ollama, LM Studio, and Amuse.
AMD has officially launched its latest Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor - available at major retailers!

It’s obvious that the AI Bundle hasn’t exactly been a popular reveal with regular consumers – certainly for gamers who may have expected more from this year’s CES announcements. We did get a reveal of the new Ryzen 7 9850X3D, which is essentially a higher-clocked version of the 9800X3D, but no new discrete graphics cards were announced during the event.

A community poll on Hardware Unboxed’s YouTube channel reveals exactly what their audience feels about the release. Regardless of what gamers think, the AI Bundle has been well-received by reviewers, with TechPowerUp calling it a convenient package, clearly positioned “as a privacy- and cost-friendly way to explore AI” in its detailed review.
