How it Works
1. Input your OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini API keys
No data goes through our servers. We don't even have a server nor charge you any subscriptions.
2. Connect your email or other apps
Connect your email or other apps to download messages and Pause will start spinning up an agent per message. It retroactively goes through all messages in the last 30 days.
3. Get stuff done
Your tasks will show up on the left sidebar. Inside those tasks you can create tabs, interact with ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini and browse the web to complete your task. Pause acts like a browser.

What is Pause?
Pause connects your existing tools — email, Discord, calendar, and more — and lets AI create tasks from each message. Then, you can either send it to an agent or human or finish the task yourself.
Do you see my data?
No. You bring your own keys and everything runs through your own infrastructure. No SaaS subscriptions, no data collection, no servers on our end.
Why another app?
We used other alternatives (OpenClaw, Beeper, Linear, etc.) and found them lacking. We use Pause ourselves and found it to be the most complete solution.
What's your pricing model?
We don't have one right now. The core product will always remain free. We want to make a completely optional subscription-based cloud service to run this in the cloud but we're not there yet.
