What is a session?

A session is a window. Whenever you open a new browser window, Partizion will treat this as a session. Whenever you open or close tabs, Partizion will automatically update the session.

How does Session version history work?

Not only does Partizion automatically save your sessions, it uses a proprietary algorithm to create smart “versions” of your sessions as well. Often times, we want to revisit a recipe, article, or product in a session we had open previously. It is extremely hard to find this particular tab in the native browser history, so we’ve created helpful session versions that make it very easy to find the tab you’re looking for.

Can I turn off Sessions?

Yes! You can completely turn off cloud synced session’s if you don’t want this feature. You can also toggle the them on and off as much as you’d like. You can also use an incognito window whenever you don’t want a session to be saved, Partizion will never (and physically cannot) save sessions in incognito mode.

Can I configure Partizion to automatically delete Sessions?

Yes, you can configure Partizion to automatically delete sessions after a certain timeframe. By default, sessions are automatically deleted after 90 days. You can also set this to ‘Never’ if you’d like to keep all your session’s forever.

What is a collection?

Partizion also has Collections, which, very similar to Sessions are just saved groups of tabs. Collection’s are great for saving a group of tabs that you re-open or revisit frequently, or just for tracking a project, reading list, shopping list, etc. You can save a session as a collection if you’d like to save it as a permanent group of tabs.

Is Partizion a Session Manager? Tab Manager?

Partizion is a tab manger, session manager, and bookmark manager. (psst, we're even working on a window manager). The category doesn't really matter though — we want to help you enjoy working in the browser and are on a mission to make managing tabs, sessions, and your work feel effortless.

Recent convert and love it! Didn't expect to find myself using this as often as I already have. It's only been a few days but I can safely say that I'll be a power user for the long haul. Great idea, clean and user friendly interface, and best of all easy to learn but very effective.

Partizion helps me save tabs to organized lists for me to reference later. The Partizion team has been extremely open to feature suggestions and has continually improved their product!

Switched me from a Safari user to a Chrome user immediately. Commonly used separate windows to handle different workspaces, and this clears it all up. Also nice because I often have a batch of tabs that I open together. With this, it's a single click to open the whole batch. Awesome work! Keep it up!

Partizion - something that I have been looking for quite some time now. It helped me to reduce clutter and context switching for my Chrome tabs and increase productivity. Awesome extension, loving it!

I was thinking just yesterday how inefficient it was for me to have 4 tabs open at once and having to constantly switch between them, mixing up tabs, using the wrong tabs for the wrong things, etc.And then I find this on Reddit. This extension is a must have people who tend to have a lot of tabs open like me. Its extremely easy to use. I love it!!

I'm one of those people who keeps multiple browsers open, with multiple windows and so many tabs in each that you can only see the favicons and who the hell knows what's in each one. Using Partizion, I was able to easily organize my most important and frequently-visited sites and documents, and remove the clutter of too many open tabs.

So far, Partizion has exceeded my expectations and then some.  I have moved all my open tabs over to Partizion, and it's so nice to be able to access them from my work or home computer.  And it's effortless to organize them or move them to different workspaces/collections.  I have tried every tab/bookmark manager out there (OneTab, TabsFolders, etc.), but they don't compare to the ease of use and the super simple way I can organize different workspaces/collections.

I have been looking for a bookmarking solution for weeks - that is, until I found Partizion. If you work with a lot of bookmarks and tabs, this is the perfect solution. And the dev (Matthew) is amazing at helping if you have any issues. I have never seen an app with such great support.
