To check whether a website is AI slop, I put random shit behind the URL. Sometimes literally just shit: oblo.mov/shit
Then I look at the 404. AI’s don’t invest in pages nobody sees. People who don’t really care about their product don’t invest in these error pages either.
A beautiful 404 proves nothing, of course. But it tells me somebody cared about the website that was made. I trust that kind of site more, especially in the age of AI slop.
