Your readme file says
> Some voxels will not load in Raze, for some reason.
Could you provide examples of which voxels wont load, so the devs can hopefully figure out the reason why?
Real nice pack btw. I particularly love the enforcer.

i can't get this to work i have eduke32 installed as a flatpak everything in my autoload folder does load just not this FYI i have voxels enabled

eduke32 does not cumulatively load def files, you'll have to manually edit duke3d.def to include all the relevant def files.

`autload` doesn't seem to be working on the latest version of eduke32 (at least on Linux).
This is how I did it:
`eduke32 -grp .config/eduke32/autloload/voxel_duke3d.zip`
You also need to disable the Polymost renderer, that's explained on the mod's readme file.

autoload not working on linux is wrong because i have been using it for some time only voxel duke does not work with autoload

duke3d.def from the zip doesn't load for some reason. You can add
include duke3d_maphacks.def
include duke3d_voxels.def
to ~/.config/eduke32/duke3d.def

I does load, you just have to specify it via command line args like I mentioned in my previous comment. There's no need to extract the zip file.

weird for me the eduke32 mods/autoload folder comes from Documents/EDuke32
.config is for ekude32 settings on my pc

I've made a mistake, the folder I created had a typo: "autloload" -> "autoload".
No need to run with a special command, just putting the zip file inside the autoload folder works!

it really sucks that this exclusively supports the classic renderer. the distortion when looking up and down makes this mod totally unplayable to me.

It works mostly fine on polymost except where there are moving parts like the claw in E4L9

Yeah Voxel Doom became THE way I play Doom 1/2 + vanilla WADs but the stinkjank renderer you have to use to play with Voxel Duke makes it a little less appealing for repeated use

How would you get this and hrp to play nice with each other?
Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote
NightFright2k15 - - 21 comments
You don't. Models and voxels don't work together. In fact, voxels are converted to conventional models during EDuke32 startup.

@Cheello:
I found a mistake in the Duke (player) definitions. It uses #1516 which does not exist. Instead this one should be #1518 (dead Duke).

You download this mod, put it in the Duke Nukem 3D folder, and if you play through Eduke32, start Duke Nukem 3D through Eduke32 normally and the mod is read automatically. So nothing complicated, it's very simple.

Thanks for your reply Raswell. Maybe the Dev can add this to the Description above? So others can see it more easily.

Also for a better gaming experience download "DUKE UPSCALE" from here on MOD DB enter Duke Upscale in the search when you download the files from WinRar unpack everything into your Duke Nukem 3D folder and then you will have DukeUpscale.bat and run it Eduke32 will open and then just start and that's how you will run this mod (3D Voxel) with Upscale mod and even better 3D Model :) If you haven't downloaded Duke Upscale here is the link from MOD DB so you don't have to search: Moddb.com

If you have any trouble with the mods, feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help. And the developer should put a description so that users who aren't very experienced can take a look.

You're welcome, my brother. I download maps for Duke Nukem 3D here: Scent-88.com you have over 1000 different maps from various authors, among them you have single player and multiplayer :) that site is a large collection of user maps.😜 I simply love helping others, it's a small thing for me but it means a lot to someone.😉

Thanks, I will check you your website for extra maps.
Now that you mention it, I do have some questions about Duke Nukem 3D, maybe you can help me with this too.
1) Besides Duke Nukem 3D Upscale Pack 1.3, there is also this one, the High Resolution Pack (HRP)
Hrp.duke4.net
Can I use these 2 mods together? Or not? Or which one is better to use? I'm not really sure about this.
2) Besides Voxel Duke Nukem, there is also this other mod that I would like to play: KickAss Duke
Moddb.com
Can I play these two mods simultaneously from the same folder or is that not possible? And if I can play these 2 mods together, can I also play them with the 3D Upscale Pack 1.3 and/or HRP?
Thank you in advance!

RaswellsOfficial - - 14 comments
Let me tell you about (HRP). You don't need the Upscale Pack if you're using the High Resolution Pack (HRP). The reason is that HRP already replaces all the original sprites with real 3D models for characters, enemies, weapons, and many objects. While the Upscale Pack only increases the resolution of the original 2D sprites and textures, HRP goes much further. 3D models, instead of sprites that are always "flat" and facing the player, HRP puts real polygonal models that can rotate and light more realistically with modern effects. The high resolution textures in HRP are much more detailed, so the game looks modern, almost like a remake, without the need for additional "upscaling". Modern graphic effects. If you're using EDuke32 with the Polymer renderer, HRP adds shadows, lighting, and effects that aren't in the original game, which the Upscale Pack doesn't offer compatibility with. If you try to combine HRP and Upscale Pack, there may be conflicts because the upscale pack will try to increase the sprites and there are no sprites in HRP, so the game may crash. And this under 2) I'm not sure you can use Duke Voxel and Kick *** Duke so I can't tell you because I haven't tried it, and I don't want to tell you something I don't know, I can only help with what I know. And I think with HRP you can play Kick *** Duke.

Let me mention this website: Scent-88.com is not my website, if you think it's mine, no it's not mine, I found it when I was on google a long time ago when I was looking for maps, I typed duke 3d maps and it was the first one that came up and I found out about it, it's not bad, there are billions of maps from 1996 until today. It is the Archive of all Duke Nukem 3D User Maps.

For the Duke Nukem 3D Upscale Pack 1.3, I'm missing the installation guide. Can you tell me again, step by step, how to install Vox and then Upscale? (And maybe how to do that with Kick *** Duke as well?)
Reply Good karma Bad karma+2 votes
RaswellsOfficial - - 14 comments
Of course I can help you, so download Duke Upscale 1.3 and then extract all the files from WinRar that you downloaded into your Duke Nukem 3D folder and then run DukeUpscale.bat. (NOTE) you must have Eduke32 for DukeUpscale.bar to work.

Hey Raswell,
I've watched the video. But to be honest I was really confused with the 'Duke Nukem 3D' folder on your desktop and the files already present in it, at 1:23.
Some explanation of how and why you drag and drop your files would REALLY help me, since I'm no expert in this.
