Is my API key safe?
Your API key is copied only to your private Hetzner instance — it's not stored anywhere else. The server is firewalled by default, and only your OpenClaw instance runs on it.
Is my instance shared or private?
100% private. Each customer gets their own dedicated server. No shared resources, no data cross-contamination. Your instance is yours alone.
Do you handle OpenClaw updates?
Yes — we keep your instance up to date automatically. Security patches, new features, all handled. You don't have to lift a finger.
Do I need my own API keys?
Yes — you'll need a Claude or OpenAI account. This means you pay them directly (no markup from us), and your conversations stay between you and the AI provider.
Can I access the server directly?
Yes! We can grant SSH access on request. Your server is locked down by default, but you can tinker if you want.
Isn't a VPS insecure?
A raw, self-managed VPS? Absolutely — you'd need to configure SSH keys, firewalls, Fail2Ban, VPN, and keep it all updated. With lobsterfarm, all of that is done for you. Firewall on by default, no exposed ports, and we handle all security updates.
What if something breaks?
Message us and we fix it. You don't need to know what went wrong or how to read a log file. That's literally what we're here for.
What if I want to leave?
