Last week, Santa Clara County first stated large events should no longer happen, and then on Monday declared them a crime in Santa Clara County and San Jose. Nevertheless, immediately after events were declared a crime, the lawyers for San Jose Marriot sent us a demand for $700,000, and also refused to refund any attendee rooms.
