Tesla employees are taking to LinkedIn to discuss being laid off — a move CEO Elon Musk had announced earlier in the month, reported Bloomberg, that would affect 10% of salaried workers due to a "super bad feeling" about the economy. Among the cuts was senior executive Christopher Bousigues, who was hired as the company's Singapore country manager a year ago. Others affected included a project lead, a CGI animation lead and a regional warehouse manager, according to Business Insider. Tesla employed 99,290 people globally by the end of 2021.

  • Musk warned employees in an internal memo this week, “This has been a very tough quarter ... So we need to rally hard to recover!”
