Remote development is booming! GitHub has just announced Codespaces. While GitHub implemented fully native VS Code inbrowser. Microsoft has renamed its VS Online to VS Codespaces. Those two events happened in one week. It looks that they are merging those products. Microsoft has also announced its Remote Development Extension Pack. Facebook joined with the mission to scale remote development. The most impressive is how quickly two separate companies started sharing code.
