IMMACULATE ATTENTION TO DETAILS

Milled from solid blocks of aluminum, this case offers a level of quality not seen other PC computer case out there. Glass blasted anodized aluminum exterior, Red heli-coils, pressed stainless steel stand-offs and polished neodymium magnets are just a couple of details that make this case stand out above all others. Nothing has been left untouched, every millimeter of this case has been carefully considered and purposely designed to maintain this level of quality in every single detail.

NO MORE DELIDDING OR DOWNVOLTING

Forget throttling, overheating, noise and performance loss. With the Ghost S1 you will never have to worry about those things anymore. The Ghost is likely to perform significantly better than your full-size system you are rockn' today. Compare it with any other sub 20-liter case and you will be blown away. At the bottom of this page you will find links to our test documents, please read through the CPU AIR cooler report carefully, if you have the possibility to run the same test on your own system, please do to get an idea of what this little “badboy” is capable of!

THE CONCEPT

The GHOST S1 is easiest described in detail by looking at four different structural stages: (1) The Spine, (2) the Core, (3) the side panels and (4) the TopHats.

1. THE SPINE

This is where most of the engineering hours have been spent. Maximizing functionality while simplifying the layout has been the primary guiding principle throughout the design process. The hardware of your choice is mounted directly to the Spine making it the single most vital component of the case. The voids have been carefully calculated to allow multiple points of entry during build without compromising the structural integrity of the case - so convenient that we have a patent pending.

2. THE CORE

Without using any tools, the case is quickly “undressed”, leaving you with the Core where alterations to your config easily can be made. Simply pull the “Grill” up, slide the side panels out and you are in.

3. THE SIDE PANELS

Just like the gables, the side panels are made from extruded magnesium reinforced aluminum that is later CNC milled with 1.320 3 mm holes, the milling creates a gorgeous chamfer on every single hole, making the side panels “come alive”.

4. TOPHATS

We don't believe a computer case should be bigger than necessary. However, being a performance junkie sometimes means you need to fit more stuff than the Average Joe. The TopHat modules are designed to expand the volume of your GHOST S1 XS, making it a S, M, or L. The TopHats are interchangeable between the top and the bottom position.

FORMATS & COLORS

GHOST S1 comes in three colors and endless form factors - What's your combo? GHOST S1 could be configured in different sizes by adding TopHat(s) of your choice. What you choose to use the extra space for is up to you, but we made it ready to fit the most common 120 mm accessories like fans and radiators right out-of-the-box. The architecture and configurability remove the traditional limits of SFF cases and let’s your imagination set the boundaries.

COLORS

The Ghost comes in 3 colors, Ash, Limestone and Arctic. They two first are glass blasted to create a deep matt finish before anodized, the Arctic uses far more complex methods to achieve that gorgeous white finish:

Ash. A dark (almost completely black) color that will disappear like a Ghost
Limestone. This finish has no dye, instead the aluminum's natural color is used as a base and the glass blasting gives it a light mat finish
Arctic. A very special anodize method allows us to offer this unique white version, glossier than the other two and more expensive to produce, that's why we need to charge you another 250 SEK for this option and no additional cost for TopHats in with this finish

YOUR COMBO

There are at least 75 permutations of this case, selecting the right one for you is understandably difficult. To give you more time to make up your minds, TopHats and colors will be selected through a survey after the campaign is over. Only one TopHat is possible to acquire through this platform. However, all backers that opt for a pledge including a TopHat will get the chance to acquire more TopHats before the delivery of the Ghost S1 through other channels.

ADD-ONS and STRETCH GOALS

Nonstop progression, the Ghost will not stop evolving. We have a list of add-ons that we need your help prioritizing! Naturally it is a win-win-situation to get these out, but at the same time we have limited resources at this point and our number one priority is to deliver the Ghost S1 platform on time – addons projects come second (TopHats aside). An over funded campaign will give us more financial maneuverability and allow us to jumpstart one or two add-on projects depending on their ease of implementation. As stretch goals we will get on a number of these projects right away and do everything in our power to have them ready before your Ghost is delivered.

150% funding level will result in 1 project being executed right away
200% funding level will result in 2 projects being executed right away
250% funding level will result in 3 projects being executed right away

We have a vision of shaping a strong community, banding together and tap into each other’s brain-power with the common purpose of creating the ultimate SFF PC platform. The most vital component for creating an efficient cooperative environment is information. When everyone has the same perfect information and ALL the information, communication becomes more direct, a common nomenclature is developed, misunderstandings are minimized etc. This is why we have committed to the promise of sharing the 3D model with the community, for everyone to have absolute information. Feel free to do with it what you want for yourself. The files will be released to backer when everything is 100% set and no more changes are expected.

The Ghost S1 MKII has become something considerably different and drastically better than what we initially had in mind. It is a much more refined product today and at the same time the fundamental idea and values have remained. The result should speak for itself, now more than ever! The updated Ghost has received several important improvements, some of the most important ones are listed below:

The entire shell is CNC milled instead of stamped
Outer shell is glass blasted before anodized for a deep matt finish
The CPU cooler clearance has been increased from 63 mm to 66 mm for better compatibility
USB-ports have been removed from the XS model for an ultra-clean look
Slide-in side panels
TopHats are interchangeable between top and bottom position

THE PLAN & TIMELINE

This campaign is a major milestone in our journey. Even if we have designed tons of stuff in our professional careers and are all born PC builders and gamers it wasn't until September 2016 we took on the challenge of building and designing the PC case of our dreams. After 180 days in the lab, one cancelled KS campaign, another 180 days in the lab we can finally present GHOST S1 MKII.

WHO WE ARE AND WHERE WE ARE COMING FROM

The expectations on PC hardware performance has reached an all-time high. It feels like last Monday some of us wowed to the “magic” of the Duck Hunt gun – today we take the 233 million pixels per second in our VR-glasses for granted. Meanwhile, PC hardware design and esthetics seem to be stuck in the early 2000’s with what looks like Fast & the Furious cars as design inspiration.

“Being born PC builders and gamers now in our thirties, we had outgrown techy spaceships and dust collecting monsters. We wanted a Small Form Factor PC Case that did not only fit all the latest technology but also looked good enough to deserve a place in front of the sofa next to the TV Speakers. As we couldn't find anything matching our demands we decided to design our own..."
