Leaving my corporate 9-5 for permanent Indie Hacking. Advice needed.

After 8 years in a comfy job in Tech Consulting, I've decided it's time to chase my dreams of building and launching products full-time. I have some savings runway built-up, and I've got a big bowl of corporate frustration built up for motivation.

I feel like I am now home. Wish me luck fellow Indie Hackers!

On my mind right now are three things:

  • So many places to start.
    There are just TOO MANY opportunities in this amazing digital world we live in. Which to focus on, which to ignore.

  • 8 years of external structure.
    For 8 years, most of my motivation to stay focussed and work hard came from outside sources. Now, it's time to grow and nurture internal motivation.

  • Fear and Negativity
    Economic crises left and right, COVID-19, naysayers, profits of doom. Constant battle to stay positive.
