After 8 years in a comfy job in Tech Consulting, I've decided it's time to chase my dreams of building and launching products full-time. I have some savings runway built-up, and I've got a big bowl of corporate frustration built up for motivation.
I feel like I am now home. Wish me luck fellow Indie Hackers!
On my mind right now are three things:
-
So many places to start.
There are just TOO MANY opportunities in this amazing digital world we live in. Which to focus on, which to ignore. -
8 years of external structure.
For 8 years, most of my motivation to stay focussed and work hard came from outside sources. Now, it's time to grow and nurture internal motivation. -
Fear and Negativity
Economic crises left and right, COVID-19, naysayers, profits of doom. Constant battle to stay positive.
On my short-term radar are three things:
- My soon to be relaunched feedback tool, https://www.feedback.link
- My remote social games platform, https://www.ziago.co
- Keeping a positive cashflow with Product Design freelancing
Where are you on your Indie Hacking journey?
