Does Fudge slow down my site speed?
No. Fudge does not add heavy scripts or trackers to your storefront. When a page is published, it exists as normal Shopify theme code - just as if a developer had built it manually.
How does Fudge add pages to my site?
Fudge writes native Shopify theme code, just like a world-class Shopify developer would. Everything is added directly to your theme - there are no iframes, external rendering layers, or proxy setups.
Is Fudge safe to use on a live store?
Yes. Fudge only works on drafts until you choose to publish. Nothing goes live without your approval, and you can preview changes before publishing.
Will I lose my pages if I uninstall Fudge?
No. Once a page is published, it lives entirely in your Shopify theme. Uninstalling Fudge does not remove or break any pages that have already been published.
Can I edit the page after publishing?
Yes. You can edit published pages using Fudge by describing the changes you want. And because it's standard theme code, you can always edit manually too—Fudge never locks you out of your own code.
Do I need to know Liquid or Shopify development to use Fudge?
Not at all. Fudge is designed for non-technical users, but it doesn't hide the code. Non-technical users can describe what they want in plain language, while technical users can inspect and modify everything.
Will Fudge work with my Shopify theme?
Yes. Fudge is designed to work with modern Shopify themes and inherits your theme styling so pages look and feel like the rest of your storefront.
Yes. Published pages are normal Shopify pages/templates in your theme, so they're crawlable like the rest of your storefront. As with any new or updated page, indexing can take time depending on search engines.
