CVS Health is teaming up with Google Cloud to launch Health 100, a new health technology unit that will be tasked with building an integrated health engagement platform for consumers.
The platform leans on agentic artificial intelligence to deliver an omnichannel experience, with technical support from Google's enterprise software, Cloud API and suite of Gemini AI tools. The goal, CVS said in an announcement, is to build an "always-on personal healthcare partner."
Health 100 will provide users with key data and supports to eliminate the "homework" they need to do to keep up with their healthcare, including greater access to price transparency and benefit data to make it easier to track and manage costs.
The platform will also connect to care management services led by pharmacists, leaning on a trusted—but often underutilized—clinical expert.

Tony Ambrozie, senior vice president and chief digital officer for CVS' Pharmacy and Consumer Wellness team, said during a press briefing this week that a patient's health data often sit in multiple silos, making it difficult for them to have a full picture of their health.
To bring that all together, many patients have to do the legwork themselves, he said, which can be a cumbersome task. Then, even once the data are collected, the patient may still lack insight into what their medical costs may be and how to best use their benefits.
"Uncertainty alone creates friction. Fragmentation creates fatigue, and fatigue leads to disengagement," Ambrozie said. "That's what Health 100 is designed to help over time to change."
Google's tech allows the platform to optimize workflows across data streams, including text, voice and visual media. It can also integrate key biometric data from wearables, according to the announcement.
The AI layers on top of these data, Ambrozie said, to surface key insights and suggest next steps for the patient to follow. He said much of the focus across 2026 will be working to bring together that comprehensive health record for users.
Ambrozie said another key piece of the Health 100 puzzle is that the team is building the platform for consumers who aren't in CVS' ecosystem but may instead have other medical or pharmacy coverage.
The company plans to launch the platform this year and will offer more details, as well as a first look, at Google's annual health event, The Check Up, later this month.
"We already have a proof point today across Caremark and Aetna and our pharmacy entities," he said. "What we're trying to do is bring others so the entire journey is covered."
