Nigel Farage, the leader of Reform UK, has a habit of quitting but sticking around. In the past decade he has twice stepped down as the leader of populist-right parties, only to return to front-line politics. Now, amid a scandal over whether he should have declared a £5m ($6.7m) gift from a crypto entrepreneur, he has given up his parliamentary seat in order to try to win it again.
