Data at Scale is a technical conference for engineers and architects building large-scale systems. Join us for a full day of technical talks, hands-on sessions, and conversations with practitioners pushing the boundaries of real-time analytics and data infrastructure.
This is an in-person event only, one focused day at LIEF Amsterdam in October 2026, date TBD. Expect practical lessons, proven architectures, and real-world experience from teams operating data platforms at scale. Sessions cover everything from query optimization and schema design to AI workloads, observability, and infrastructure at petabyte scale.
Practitioners from across the data ecosystem, including builders, operators, and vendors alike, sharing hard-won lessons from running large-scale systems in production.
What is Data at Scale?
Data at Scale is a one-day, single-track conference on best practices in large-scale data processing. It runs in October 2026, date TBD, at LIEF Amsterdam. The event is hosted by ClickHouse and positioned as a community conference for the broader data engineering audience.

Will there be a CFP for speakers?
Yes. The CFP is open on Sessionize until 20 June 2026:
https://sessionize.com/data-at-scale-amsterdam/. We are looking for talks based on real-world analysis of large datasets. Vendors and competitors are welcome on the same terms as practitioners and researchers.
What can I expect from the agenda?
A single-track program with one opening keynote, a slate of standard talks (around 25 minutes each), and lightning talks. Doors open at 09:00, the program runs 10:00 to 17:00, and the reception runs 17:00 to 19:00.
Is this a ClickHouse event?
ClickHouse hosts and organizes the event. Data at Scale is community-positioned. Talks from other vendors are welcome on the same terms.
Will talks be recorded?
Yes. All talks are recorded and published to YouTube after the event.
Do you cover speaker travel?
No. Speakers cover their own travel and accommodation. Conference tickets are comped for accepted speakers.
Will there be a virtual stream?
No. Data at Scale is in-person only in October 2026, date TBD.
