Bending Spoons Will Buy Airtable After Steep Fall From $11.7 Billion Peak

App developer Bending Spoons SpA has agreed to buy software firm Airtable for an equity value of $2.25 billion, a sharp decline from the startup’s 2021 peak valuation.

Bending Spoons, which owns several digital properties, including AOL and Vimeo, said on Tuesday that it plans to complete an all-cash transaction giving Airtable an enterprise value of around $1.29 billion. It’s the first acquisition that Bending Spoons announced since going public on July 1.
